I know a lot of people have problems with these washers so.....im posting this to both get advice on potential fixes and give people a place to find a solution for other peolple.. I have a maytag bravos x washer and its stuck on sensing mode mvwx700xw1. did one load and now its stuck on the sensing mode it won't run all it does that s turns on and locks lid. Washer stuck on sensing. the washer is stuck on sensing. the lid lock light will blink a few times and then turn off. it repeats over and over. maytag washer m# mvwx500xw0 sensing light goes on lid locks,it starts thenlid and sensing light blinks and stops working..
Troubleshooting maytag bravos (mvwx700xw0) "stuck on sensing mode" problem is that the washer stays stuck in sensing mode. i thought it was the actuator and already replaced that, but it wasn't the problem. it gets to a point where is just buzzes and the basket doesn't move.. Washer gets stuck in the sensing cycle. lid will lock and then unlock repeatedly in the sensing cycle and then it just stops. the sensing mode light stays on though. posted by stacy on sep 12, 2012. want answer 0. source: maytag washer getting stuckon wash cycle..
